It was a spur of the moment type thing. I heard about 29 Rooms in September while I was at Inbound 2017 in Boston. I was bummed to find out that I missed 29 Rooms in NYC. It looked amazing from the video Refinery 29's Piera Gelardi showed at Inbound. As soon as I got back to my hotel room I searched for the event only to find that it had passed.
A couple of days later, I returned to work and while I was showing my colleagues how amazing 29 Rooms would have been to attend we found that they were going to be showing the exhibit in Los Angeles, CA a couple months down the line.
Believe it or not, the event had already sold out the first weekend and the only tickets available were for the following weekend for 29 Rooms after dark. Which meant that drinks were included in the ticket price and we were allowed to venture around the rooms for 3 hours - and we did.
Here are some photos of our favorite installations from 29 Rooms After Dark.
